The Google box

What's next?

Kiki Chan's DBX navigation boxes script is now replaced with some other script, so in turn her effort was wasted.

Robert Kehres's CSS is now removed, so now he has to find out what he can do.

Yan Chow's clock tower graphics were rejected so they are being replaced as well with something else.

Things that we are going to do:

to add a blue ticker box at the middle of the page so that everyone can see
to add a google box at the middle of the page
to add an IB logo at the bottom of the page
to add a telephone number at the top of the page

Why are some aspects worse than before?

Telephone number - if I were to look for a telephone number on a site, I expect it to be at "contact us", nowhere else
Google box at the middle - just about every browser has a search box.
And how much shorter is "http://www.kgv.net" than "http://google.com"?
Ticker - I can't search for a notice. I'd recommend an AJAX parser.

About colour themes

Click on the boxes under "King George V School" to change the colour scheme.

You can see that the URL does not change after a new colour is applied. This means the user session is entirely preserved even if someone wants to change the colour theme halfway.

The colour change module is made by Brian Lai.
